Palace of Versailles Website
Did a tour of Versailles today - just amazing and the grounds are spectacular.
We checked out of the Waldorf and checked into the Novotel to meet our battlefront tour.
This hotel is close to Parc Lachaise which is a huge historic cemetery where many notable people are buried.
We walked through and found Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf, Oscar Wilde and many more...
Then came back and had dinner zith our tour group - great bunch - only half here due to the volcano in Iceland.
Will finish now due to time restrcition on this internet at the hotel. Will hopefully catch up with you all soon in more detail and with photos!!!!

OMG - isn't that cemetery so fascinating - i remember scrambling through there many years ago in my younger years.......so old, so mysterious
