Divorced, Beheaded, Died, Divorced, Beheaded, Survived...

Today was a more leisurely pace. We had morning tea/lunch with Jenny and her brand new 10 week old baby Austen. We have met Jenny a few times as she is one of Myfanwys good friends and has married an Australian man, Shane. Consequently we have caught up with Jenny in Australia a few times. It was great to see her here in London and with her new baby.

I made my scrummy 3 Sisters Cafe Muffins for morning tea....(1 cup s.r flour, 1 cup rolled oats, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, 1/2 cup milk then add your flavour - today I added honey and choc chip).

We spent the afternoon at Hampton Court Palace. This was the home of Henry VIII. What a sumptuous life! Paul was most impressed by the kitchen - and there were several fireplaces so big that even Paul could walk into them. At the Palace cafe Paul got to try a Bacon Butty and I had a Queen Victoria Sponge with my cuppa....

Myfanwy, Eoin, Paul and I then tackled the maze in the Palace Gardens - as you can imagine, Eoin had great fun being chased by us through this maze....

Then off to Sainsbury's to buy ingredients for dinner.....
